Ein sehr besonderes Haus, das man rasch lieb gewinnt. Die Vermieterin Sofia und ihre Tochter Machi sind einfach nur wunderbar! Alle auftretenden Fragen konnten unmittelbar geklärt werden. Mehrfach wurde das Haus gereinigt und immer stand danach eine Überraschung auf dem Tisch, selbst gemacht! Grandios und äußerst schmackhaft. Ein Auto ist aufgrund der Lage unabdingbar. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt!

Wonderful place to reset and disconnect from the noise. The local restaurants further up the mountain were great. The house had everything you would need for a stay, the outdoor facilities and spaces have been very well thought of. The only feedback we had was the bed was quit firm but other than this the place was amazing.

An excellent family holiday then location is extremely picturesque and surrounded by mountains. Everyday we saw the most wonderful sunset and sunrise. Sofia met us at the property, she cleaned and cooked delicious traditional food for us and completed check out, making these processes simple and personal. To enable a family to make the most of the island hiring a car is essential. We explored many beautiful beaches, ports and archaeological ruins as we were blessed with sunshine all week. I would recommend a visit for a lovely family holiday.

Très belle ancienne maison remise au goût du jour toit en gardant son charme. Très bel accueil par Maria. 1ere course faite, fruits, œufs, boissons, tout le nécessaire pour la toilette, jusqu'au lait corporel. Maria nous a fait une moussaka délicieuse. La maison est située dans la montagne, accès pas une belle route...de montagne. L'endroit est fait pour ceux qui aiment le calme et se sentir loin du monde. il faut compter 35 mns de route en lacets pour retourner vers Chania. Cela se fait bien, sauf si l'on n'aime pas les routes de montagne, il faut le savoir. La maison offre toutes les commodités, elle est cosy et accueillante. Un bel endroit à la montagne et en même temps proche de la mer. Une petite piscine permet de se rafraîchir. Les nuits sont plus fraîches l'été qu'en ville, c'est le plus également. Bref que du positif pour les amoureux du bout du monde.

Very peaceful and relaxing location, situated on a mountain road about 30 minutes from Chania. The house, outdoor area, and pool were all very clean and well-maintained. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided (incl. air conditioning, kitchen utensils, sun loungers, and umbrellas). Sofia and Machi were extremely friendly (thanks for the food and drinks for the first night, especially for the Moussaka!) and communication with them was excellent. I would definitely book this house again whenever I need a quiet getaway.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin und ihre Mutter sind äußerst freundlich und immer erreichbar. Absolut ruhige Lage.Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich.

Een prachtige locatie en omgeving. Wat een lieve en gastvrije eigenaren. Bedankt voor de heerlijke zelfgemaakte gerechten en het lieve cadeau toen wij uit-checkten! Tip: heerlijke koffie bij Rozemarin!

Lovely place in a cozy village. Very nice landlord. The tavern in town had quite good food, and the place was a good starting point for excursions into nature.

The apartment is exactly as listed. We arrived in the evening and the family met us and were so lovely and welcoming with food and drink for us and the fire ready to light. They were helpful and kind. We loved the little house and the area of Drakona and around in the mountains with many little villages to discover, just be careful of the free wandering goats and sheep! The neighbours were friendly and one is the owners grandmother. We recommend this for anyone who wants to escape the tourist traps! However Chania is only 30m drive away.

We had a wonderful time in this lovingly furnished house. Everything was very clean. Also outside, everything is in top condition and very clean. We had a problem with the chimney, but it was immediately fixed by the owner. Very nice people, there is no other way to express it.

Das Haus ist einfach toll. Wer Gastfreundschaft erleben will wie noch nie, der muss hierher. So wie hier, sind wir noch nie verwöhnt worden. Als "Willkommensgeschenk" fanden wir eine noch warme Moussaka vor, einen üppigen Obstteller und einen gefüllten Kühlschrank. Alles war tiptop sauber. Es wurde 2x in der Woche geputzt und Wäsche gewechselt, zusätzlich wurden wir mit griechischen Leckereien verwöhnt. Absolut bemerkenswert. Der Pool ist super gepflegt. Leider war das Wasser im Oktober schon recht frisch, sonst hätte ich ihn noch lieber genutzt. Wenn wir nicht in der tollen Sommerküche gegrillt haben, sind wir im Ort essen gegangen, was immer sehr gut war. Kurz und gut - sehr empfehlenswert

It was my first time in Greece but it won't be my last ❤️

We hat a very nice time in the small and wonderful house.
It hast all you need.
The terrain outside is very nice and big and you can sit there in the shadow.
The owner are really nice and helfen us every time.
We love the stay and would like to come again.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Melone, frischem Obst, Butter und Marmelade. Wir sind von unseren Gastgebern sogar bekocht worden. Alle 2-3 Tage kam jemand für eine Reinigung vorbei. Das Haus und der Pool waren wunderbar sauber und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

The best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far. This remote villa was amazing to stay in. We just spent 8 nights here and couldn’t recommend it enough. The location is remote and in a quiet village up in the mountains but if you have a car then you’ll be in a central location to drive out towards some of the hotspots in town and the beaches. The drive up and down to the villa also gives you some of the best views of Chania so it’s worth it just for that. The village also has some restaurants. Sofia and her family were the most hospitable hosts I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Their mother was extremely thoughtful and kind. She even cooked and left us food! The villa itself is very comfortable and is very well equipped. The private pool was great to use and there is a nice view from it. It has a village home feel inside and is cosy. Overall I really do recommend anybody reading this to book this villa for their stay in Crete!!!

Arrival was very smooth and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They had prepared fruits, a moussaka, fresh vegetables and more which was much appreciated after a flight! They also offered a homemade cake midstay. The exterior area is wide and offers a great view and all the equipment was very nice. The house was impeccable and spacious even though we spent all of our time outside. The house is very well equiped and we definetely would come back!

We had a lovely stay at this villa, though the listed address did take us further up than the actual address, the hosts were very helpful in getting us there. The welcome basket and food was a very nice touch, and delicious too. This is ideal for anyone seeking a quiet and peaceful getaway

Wir haben eine Woche in der schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Alles wie auf den Bildern zusehen und wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Sofia und ihre Tochter sind wirklich großartige Gastgeber und sehr herzlich. Wir wurden mit einem netten Willkommensgeschenk empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Outdoor-Küche war traumhaft. Auch die Nachbarn waren alle freundlich und zuvorkommend mit tollen Tips für die Umgebung. Der Pool war absolut erfrischend und sauber. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde die Unterkunft auch gereinigt. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall notwendig. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinen Dorf und ist ca. 30 Minuten von der Stadt Chania und wundervollen Stränden entfernt. Es gibt 3 tolle Restaurants im nächsten kleinen Dorf. Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub verbracht und würden immer wieder kommen!

We were very satisfied. The hosts are very loving and helpful. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is available. If you love nature and tranquility, this is the place for you. The small pool is perfect for cooling off and you can sit very comfortably at the grill to spend a nice barbecue evening. Thank you for everything.
